I went to
Walgreens today, and this is the deal I got (by the way, I had two sets of newspaper coupons):
- 10 ounce (three wick) for $4.99 minus $3 coupon = $1.99
- 10 ounce (three wick) for $4.99 minus $3 coupon = $1.99
- 4.9 ounce for $3.99 minus $3.50 coupon = 49 cents
Total with tax was $5.45. Because I bought three, I can submit a rebate for $5. Accounting for the 44-cent stamp I need to mail in the rebate, the
total cost for all three candles is 89 cents. That's a savings of $26.50!
By the way, the bigger 3 wick candles are slightly less expensive at
Publix. So, it's possible to get an even better deal by getting the big ones there.
