Hulu is a great website that offers a huge database of full-length feature films and television shows - all for FREE. The database includes old shows as well as a number of current network programs (they usually post a day or so after they air). There are commercials, but not nearly as many as regular television.

Eggplant Pizza

Make a healthy and delicious eggplant pizza this weekend for $7 by taking advantage of sales and coupons.

• Boboli 100% Whole Wheat Pizza Crust is BOGO at Publix. (one crust is $2.19)
• Muir Glen Organic Tomato Sauce. I find that the 8-ounce can is the perfect amount for one pizza. It's more expensive per ounce, but there's no waste! Click here for $1-off Muir Glen coupons. (89 cents)
  
• Eggplant on sale for $1.15 per pound at Publix. (the eggplant I bought today cost a total of $1.48)
  
• Shredded mozzarella cheese. I stock up on this when it goes on sale for 2 for $5. ($2.50)
• You could also add baby portabello mushrooms, which are also on sale at Publix. ($1.69)
• By the way, my Sweetwater harvests often contain eggplants.
  

All you have to do it slice the eggplant very thin, rub a little sea salt on it, and fry it in bit of olive oil. Assemble the ingredients on the crust and bake about 12 minutes. I like to season the tomato sauce with Alessi Dipping Spices.

• Halls Natural Cough Drops BOGO. There was a 35-cent-off coupon in the 10/4 newspaper.
• Tylenol 7.99. Publix has a $2-off coupon in the flyer at the front of the store. There was also a manufacturer coupon for $1 off in the 10/4 newspaper.
  
• Oust 2 for $5. There was a $2-off-2 coupon in the 10/4 newspaper.
• Iams Cat Food $5.99. Publix ran a $1-off coupon in the 10/4 newspaper. You could combine this with a manufacturer coupon if you have one.

• Bryers Ice Cream BOGO.
• Bolthouse Farms 100% Carrot Juice is on Advantage Buy for 2 for $6. I don't see coupons or sales for these very often, so I stocked up. I use a lot of this in smoothies.
  
• Fresh pineapple is on sale $2.99 (regular $4.99). I stocked up. I'm going to freeze it for green smoothies. The pineapple taste disguises the spinach nicely.
• Corn on the cob is 5 for $2

My Publix bill today was $115.75 and my savings was $48.48. I'm pretty happy with that, but I wonder if I can do better next week?
