$7 Off Neutrogena Foundation at Walgreens

Walgreens has a $4-off coupon for Neutrogena foundation (expires October 10). Combine this with the $3-off coupon from All You magazine. I got one from the All You website, but it appears to be gone now. If you are able to get both coupons, that's a total of $7 off.

This weekend, I used these coupons to get a price of $4.99. I used some Register Rewards I had earned on a previous transaction and paid nothing! I'd rather use Aveda, but I'm willing to try Neutrogena for a while for this price.

Good Price for Kashi Pizza at Target

Kashi Thin Crust Margherita Pizza is marked at $2.48 (regular price) at my Target. Both times I bought this, it rang up at $4.49, but I just asked them to correct it and they did.

Click here for a $1-off Kashi Pizza at Target coupon (look for Target Coupon Generator). There are also a lot of Kashi manufacturer coupons floating around right now. You could combine the store coupon and a manufacturer coupon for a really low price!

Good Price for WASA at Target

WASA crackers are on sale at Target for $1.61. Click here for a 75-cents-off coupon, making the final price 86 cents. The first ingredient is 100% whole grain flour - very healthy!

Good Price for Skippy at Target

Click here for a $1-off Target coupon (go to Target Coupon Generator). Add that to the 40-cents-off manufacturer coupon that came in the newspaper on Sunday, October 4. Some Targets have Skippy on sale for $1.79 (with coupons, that's 39 cents). However, at my Target, Skippy is at the regular price of $2.04 (with coupons, that's 64 cents). I like the Skippy Natural since it has no hydrogenated oil and it's no-stir.

Homemade Soap: The Best Kind of Gift

I received the loveliest gift yesterday - this homemade soap from a quaint little place in Ohio called Deer Mountain Retreat. My mother's colleague recently visited the retreat and was impressed to find this in his room, rather than the typical hotel soap. He thought I would enjoy it, so he very generously saved it and brought it back to Florida to give to me.

It just goes to show that the best kinds of gifts are free! I also learned about a beautiful, natural, and reasonably-priced vacation spot in Ohio. Thanks, Wayne! Your gift really made my day!

I'm still waiting to use my first gift certificate at Restaurant BT. Hopefully next weekend!

Toy Coupons

Click here for some great toy coupons (look for the Toys & Games link on the left-hand column). I can't wait to get a Sit & Spin for my boys with the $10-off coupon!

Save on Foaming Baby Wash

I decided to give Johnson's Head-to-Toe Foaming Wash a try a few months ago instead of the regular non-foaming wash. I'm so glad I did because I use SO much less soap! I refill the foaming bottle with just a tiny bit of soap and the rest water and shake it up. A little soap goes a long way using this method. Plus, it's just nicer to have the soap all foamy when it comes out of the bottle.

Everyone in our family uses this soap - babies and grown-ups. I would rather use Burt's Bees Baby Bee Shampoo & Wash, but Johnson's is a lot more frugal. I feel it's the next best choice. It's made for newborns, so it's very mild and doesn't contain a lot of perfumes or chemicals.

Click HERE for a $1 off coupon for Johnson's products.

Click here for a free Aveda 3-piece sample pack of the Smooth-Infusion Shampoo, Conditioner, and Style-Prep Smoother. You don't even have to fill anything out - you just go straight to a coupon!

Aveda is one of my favorite products. A very green and healthy company in my opinion.

Thanks Deal Finding Chik and Coupon Gal!

SWAG BUCKS from a Newbie's Perspective

I joined SWAG BUCKS a couple weeks ago after reading about it on various blogs. It's one of those things that's kind of hard to understand until you start doing it. However, the main point is that when you use the SWAGBUCKS site to search the internet (instead of other search engines like Google) you earn reward points that can be redeemed for various things. For example, 45 points will get you a $5 gift card to Amazon.com.

One of my favorite bloggers, The Thrifty Mama said she racked up enough SWAGBUCKS over just a few months to buy a Wii Fit. I've only been doing it a couple weeks and I already have 23 points (you can see my running tally on the SWAGBUCKS icon at the bottom of this page).

If you install the SWAGBUCKS toolbar you'll earn 5 points right off the bat. Then use it every time you want to search. It's so fun to watch the little SWAG dollar pop up every so often. I will admit that the searches are a little skewed towards ads. So if you don't like your search result, just try another search engine.

There are plenty of other ways to earn SWAGBUCKS, such as shopping through their website or participating in the contests. If you're concerned about time-suckage, just do the searches to earn points and avoid all the other stuff.

Interested in trying it out? Today is a good day - Friday is MEGA SWAG BUCKS day. You are suppose to be able to earn anywhere from 3 to 100 SWAGBUCKS for searching on Fridays. I have only earned one today, though. Check my tally below later to see if I got lucky!
